Designed for Mérida's warm, humid climate, the house prioritizes cross-ventilation and shade over air conditioning, with a central pool as a climatic element.
Architecture

Materials
Local limestone walls, tropical wood pergolas, and travertine marble flooring.
Interiors
A white, natural palette that reflects heat, ceiling fans integrated into the design, and interior tropical planting.
Outcome
Shaded perimeter corridors let you move through the entire house without direct sun exposure.
